Aurigny is a S.C.O.D she is based in Plymouth and restored by my wife and I in 20 16 she is a fine example of her class that are still raced in the solent ,her hull is very sound and of mahogany she has a Volvo single ,VHF radio, echo sounder and chain and anchor she will sleep four in two double bunks ,also fresh water tank with electric domestic tap and Porto potty ,
We would like to pass on the responsibility and enjoyment of Aurigny to her next custodian. She was built in 1956 by Burnes Boat Yard in Bosham, she is No 25 in her class, she enjoys a good reputation for performance and there are two articles that refer to her in Classic Sailor 2016.
Her hull is very sound and she is probably one of the best available SCOD’s. She can accommodate four in two single forepeak v-berths which also has an infill to create a double berth and the same in the saloon where the infill creates a king size berth with good storage under all four berths. Her sails are in good order with a furling head sail and reefing main, she is powered by an 8hp 1992 Volvo Single with a three bladed prop. The paint and bright work has recently been refurbished and she is of an exceptional standard throughout .
We will be sorry to see her go but other comitments dictate we mover her on.
