I’ve raced her, single-handed, overnighted and even completed the Texas 200 with this boat. She is truly a very flexible and forgiving 22.5’ boat providing an efficient way to become a proficient sailor. In Galveston’s shallow bay, her 3000lbs and full keel allow her to power thru chop like no other boat of her size…a true ‘little blue water boat’. Everyone feels comfortable and we’re making good speed. On top of that she is One Design and has a good PHRF rating (over short distances) for Pursuit races…..and she is a Hall of Fame boat with a strong user group.
I’m only selling her because after two years she has taught me what I need to know to move to a bigger boat. When I bought her, she was ‘sailable’ but neglected. I took her to Tom Meeh of Waterline Works (Kemah) and after $10k in TLC you can see she is a real looker. Notes:
